Everyday- 'Dreams of our Fathers' Never played Live

When I popped in the everyday cd (vary rarely occurs) I was playing through it and I came upon track 4, Dreams of our Fathers. I realized I didn't think I had ever heard it played live, be it concerts Ive been to, or the concerts I downloaded. When I went to DMBAlmanac, I saw it has never been played live.

I think this is definitely one of the better songs off the album, like So right and What You Are.

Anyone know why they havn't ever played it live, or if they have??

Anybody else like that song?

i think someone said a while back that dave has problems playing and singing it at the same time. not positive though

He couldn't keep up with the lyrics. Its not that hard to sing along with, if you slow it down a tad.

It's damn hard to sing and play at the same time. I think Dave does not play it because he would mess up

someone said he tried it as a sound check but had problems playing and singing.

He soundchecked it once in 2001 and once in 2003. Both times he gave up.

it's possible to sing and play. i think dave doesn't play it because it sucks.

IT took me a while, but I Was able to sing and play it. I also found that it sounds better solo if you strum them like chords.

You have to do it slower at first in order to get the gist of the words so you don't slur them.

what a weird song...i haven't listened to it since probably 2001, but i think i still know the words by heart...even though i dont like the song.

I like how at the end they do that weird effect and the synthesizer sound goes up and down, and up and down.
