I wouldnt say that. Butch Taylor is my favorite piano player. But dont get me wrong this guy is oustanding!

What kind of mic, recording gear and piano are you using?

Yeah, Butch is an extremely talented musician. A lot of times people look at his role as fill-in-keyboardist-guy and deduce that because he doesn't really steal the stage that much, he isn't that good. I think it's up to the band to give him more parts/more freedom with his parts.

i think the last few years on tour he has a bigger part of the band. He has alot more solos

I didnt have as much respect for the piano player untill i listened to Butch.
That guy can solo.
