Meeting dave

i went up to my cousins house in ny this summer, and met his mother in law she asked me if i liked dave matthews and neil young because she knows them personally and sees them every year at farm aid, i went hell F#@#ing yes i like dave so she goes ok ill just have to take u to meet him at farm aid this year.............AHH so im freakin out i dunno wat to say or how to act........i dont want some thing stupid to slip outta my mouth like if i were a chick id do ya......lol

i talked to him once on the phone, he's real mellow and laid back. from the 15 mins i talked to him he seemed like a decent guy

Just try to act like you would around anyone else. Might be had to do but it's a lot more enjoyable if you try to put it all aside. I might mention something like your music means a lot and keep it up or something when you leave. Talk about guitars or something, you have that in common. Be sure to get a pic or something with the two of them, sounds like fun!

My thoughts exactly....Neil Young is a giant. That guy rocks so hard, it looks like he is going to have a heart attach in front of your very eyes. Of course meeting both would be even sweeter.

yea exactly dave would be a super cool experience, as far as being in complete awe it would have to be neil young. i might be speechless

You know, I had a dream awhile ago that I met Dave. We were talkin' and then I mocked his voice (how it can be kind of nasally) and he gave me a look like, "asshole"...
