Looks amazing, and the videos on the Taylor website make it sound amzing too. Anyone played one. I think I might go out and play one soon.

I've played a few, but I personally didn't think they were anything special...by that I mean, not anything much different from the Taylors already around. That said, they seem to be quite the rage on the AGF.

they're are nothing special IMO. taylor did finally do something right and increased the bass response in their guitars, but the GS now is a crossover GA and Jumbo, and is quite uncomfortable.

and for those on the AGF that swear it's the best guitar they've ever heard in their lives, well, they obviously haven't played too many guitars.

Hmmmm suspiciously similar to Larrivee's patented OM design. I hate Taylors more than any other guitar in the world. I think that is the only brand where you are truely paying for the name on the headstock.

I have played 3 guitars from the GS series. Rosewood/Cedar , Rosewood/Spruce, and Mahogany/Cedar. I thought the Rosewood/Cedar sounded best. The GS's do add a little more bottom end especially with rosewood. But I don't think I will ever own one. I prefer other Taylor's I have played. (Just my opinion. Others might love the GS). I am going to stick with my 410.
