uh so i thought i learned this song a while ago, but i guess i learned a child version. i was watching it on sess. and i knew he was doing so much more.

during this section. does anyone know what he does with his right hand cause hes finger picking. does he strum it with his thumb, or pick the three strings with his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, finger or what?

I believe he uses a technique called hybrid picking

this is one of the songs you have to listen and hit some notes twice and such. like in blackbird no tab i know of shows strumming when you are picking at the 12 fret, yet it's something you must do to get it to sound perfect.

Yea that part is hard as hell to get right. I just took that and made up my own fill because i couldnt get it to sound like the way John Mayer does it.
