Now I get it. I read through some of Mr. checkii's posts and the reason why he supports losers who come here and just bitch, moan and complain with no justification is because he is one himself. Seriously man, you need to get a life. Nothing but cynical comments come from you, you must be a very unhappy individual. I pity you.

he has a cool voice and a great delivery, but he's a gimic and i dont get what makes him better than other reggae artists.
So, you don't like Dave?
Okay, I'll give you Bartender and Christmas Song, but that's out of a 100+ song catalog.
I think some would argue that the basis for many (not all) of Dave's lyrics are religious.

I personally don't care for Matisyahu either. He's alright, and for the most part, sounds like every other reggae act out there.

Do we have the audio of this song?
I think you're combining religion and spirituality. Dave is agnostic (at the least), and he rarely sings about religion. Spirituality, sure.
adding to brocks, theres a difference between singing about your doubts, or using a reference, or something, but its not singing ABOUT the religion, using a motif is hardly singing a religious song.

dave was raised a quaker iirc. a lot of his songs explore the questions about god, death, life and spirituality in general. matisyahu is somewhat of a gimmick, but he's fairly talented and fun to listen to.

Seek Up would've been a better spot for a Matisyahu freestyle
