yea...ive been there the past 4 years and theres always fights, riots, smells like shit...probably not going this year.

there was an all out riot a few years back, but not 3 years in a row. i was there 01, 02 and 03. I think the big riots were 00. I know when i was there there were police helicopters overhead and tons of cops. there were fights every year too.

last year there was a little riot where the cops had to shoot tear gas and rubber bullets at the crowd

i just don't think the majority of the college-age kids who go to dmb shows nowadays would be all that familiar with neil diamond. i may be making an undue generalization, that's just my gut feeling. i'll be interested in hearing the crowd reaction from a pull
