The song is called Genesis by the band Hot Tuna. If you've never heard of them, you might have heard of their guitarist Jorma Koukenen. He was in Jefferson Airplane and close friends with Jerry Garcia.
Anyways, it's raining really hard and I was in a solemn mood so I decided to do a quick recording of one of my favorite songs. It's short, just barely over 2 minutes, so please give it a listen.
The Lyrics wrote: The time has come for us to pause
and think of living as it was
Into the future we must pass
And I'd like to go with you
And I'd like to go with you
You say I'm harder than a wall
A marble shaft about to fall
I loved you dearer than them all
And I'd like to go with you
And I'd like to go with you
And I'd like to go with you
And I'd like to go with you
And as we come out into day
The sky's blue has turned to grey
I might have not been here to say
And I'd like to go with you
And I'd like to go with you
Nice little tune, you pull it off well. Guitar playing is solid and voice is ok, but a bit breathy. You can hear a lot of air coming out for the amount of sound thats being produced.
For a quick recording i do like the mix a lot, vocals out front guitar in back, works nicely.
Keep up the good work
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?
You would be amazed what a little breathing excercise would do for your voice, try just taking a deep breath and blowing it out slowly keeping an even tone and hold it for as long as you can letting out as little air as possible.
