This is alright, but I'm not pleased with the way the LIOG jam turned out. I really messed up in the end. (the lead that is) And yes, the timing of the "quieter times..." is off. i just played it like that because....well just cause i did. So here you go...
EDIT: off topic, but anyway...does anyone know what this effect is called? its the one that sounds like....hmm...this is hard...like an orchestra. Tim uses it alot. its sounds like im doing at the 1:35 mark. i really like it, and i hope i can find a VST plugin for it.
i liked it, especially the jam part of LIOG... haven't heard a cover of this song in a while and i was quite impressed with the lead in LIOG. keep up the good work and maybe some vocals next time

i know it seems wierd for you lol...its hard to describe a sound...ugh. hang on...firedancer has it on his website...its in the song "in you" http://www.cadenzaspell.com i'll find the exact time shortly.
edit: ok he uses in the beginning. an example is at the 23 second mark. its used very lightly there........
It sounds like you're talking about a volume pedal dmbguitar.. tim uses it as well as a wah pedal.. I do believe fire has a wah and volume pedal.. but it sounds like a wah in "In You" by firedancer..

I'm gonna quote myself cause i'm an idiot.. by the "but it sounds like a wah in"In You" by firedancer, i meant it sounds like a volume pedal.. not a wah

hey bud, i really liked it, i especially liked the lead toward the end of the LIOG jam where you're alternating back and forth between two notes, sounded very good...have some chill points (you decide how many)
