First Original Tune from ME

Post by JCork »

Hey I'm Josh and the last contest I did was the dave contest, but heres my first orignal and first real post, so please take a look and let me know what you think of my writing and all that.

The flake cover was done off the cuff in about five minutes, im really more concerned about the Untitled song. Let me know if you have any ideas for a name for this song too please!

thanks a lot... I recorded it pretty quickly and played and sang at the same time, so this isnt really an example of my recording skills as much as me just wondering if this song has any potentail.

Well I have a Mackie DFX 12 that runs into an M-Audio Pre USB port and into my computer. If I take my time, this set up can create amazing quality, but if I throw something together quick it sounds like the quality of the songs on my myspace page, which isnt too bad. I used to use Adobe Audition, but lost that on the way home from college and now have Cool Edit Pro again. The song that you heard has nothing added to it on Cool Edit other than a fade out. The reverb is from the Mackie Mixer. Its a pretty cool set up, hopefully I can show you all a recording with it's full potential.
