rapunzel

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Post by STLflmmkr »

I just went to that LIOG site and watched some videos. On the first 10 spot video he plays Rapunzel and it looks like he plays it slightly different than on the site.

the site has

Code: Select all

E:-------------------
B:-------------------
G:-------------------
D:-5----5----3----5--
A:-x----3----x----3--
E:-3---------1-------
on the video it looks like he plays

Code: Select all

E:-------------------
B:-------------------
G:-------------------
D:-5----5----5----5--
A:-x----3----x----3--
E:-3---------1-------

Might sound odd, but I've played it both ways, and listened to a couple of different recordings. It seems like he's played it both ways at some point in time.

I think the site might have actually had it both ways at some time too...I could be wrong however.

I've seen him play it both ways. It depends on how saucy he's feeling that night or how his hand is feelin.
