yes, i do think mexico would sound pretty good with just an acoustic... However, Just a Phase sounds pretty damn good too... And even better is Summer Romance (Anti-Gravity Love Song). Whichever song u pick, it should sound pretty damn sweet

i gotta think about vocal range too. most of incubus' stuff is in E and i can't really sing E all that well. so we'll see. expect it soon .

dude speen, i started mexico...and it sounds like butt crack w/o nylon strings. it squeaks sooooooooooooo much. i may have to do something else. dammit, that makes me mad too

dude fro, are you on crack??? fuck nylon strings, mikey uses a steel strings for it, can't you hear him squeaking to high hell on the cd??? I guarantee you they edited it somehow so it doesn't sound louder... I was just messing with it too, and it does squeak, but i'm so used to it cuz my guitar is a piece of shit and the strings are 8 months old!!! Anywho, r u playing with elixirs? if not, u may want to give those a whirl

i know it squeaks, but in the tab book it says he plays w/ nylon. and yes, nylon squeaks a little. no im not playing w/ elixirs but maybe i'll get some nanoweb.

not sure, i have the live concert and he's playing steel. it just says nylon in the book. also, he plays it w/ a pick at the concert. how do you play it? i fingerpick it.

i use a pick, but i don't wanna give u the impression i can play it very well... it usually takes me a few tries to get it down, and the song is so fast that you gotta slide up and down the fingerboard like a wizard on crack.
