so,

Chrome
Brass
Glass

Which should I get??? I kind of want a twangy sound, it just seems like metal would wear out elixers pretty fast. I dunno.

It won't. I use a chrome slide now and it is very gentil on the strings. I'm sure a brass one would be the same way. The only way a slide would wear out strings is if you drop it alot and it has a lot of dents and scratches on it.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I use the mudslide. A ceramic guitar slide with IMO the most versatile sound. Very earthy on an acoustic.
