Mine got shipped UPS. De-tension the strings and use alot of packing bubbles. Guitar was packed into it's hard case and then packed tight into a cardboard box. Then insured for $7,000.

Do a search on these boards because I am pretty sure there were a couple of threads on this subject in the past that had some pretty good tips posted.

You can get a guitar box from any guitar shop. Give them a heads up so they'll save you one. Pack it in it's case or with extra bubble wrap if it doesn't have a case. Then load the box with some sort of cushion like styrofoam popcorn or more bubble wrap. Put a lot packing tape, a big label and take it to UPS. They might open it to check that it's packed correctly, they might not. Finally, always insure it for the full price. It would cost me between $30 - $40 to ship any guitar anywhere in the U.S.

I dont think you're actually meant to do that. Check Kahns link above.
Evey Hammond: Who--who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what... and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey Hammond: I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking on the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.
