New album sounds better live

When I first heard some of the studio songs of Stand Up, didnt really enjoy it, but a while ago I went and got the "Weekend on the Rocks" cd. When I heard American Baby on it, my mouth was on the floor.
I guess its been said Millions of times already but no matter what they play live, its always incredible.

yeah i really like the american baby intro on the entire weekend cd...i was also a big fan of when dave played 55th and 3rd, i like that song kinda chills ya out a bit

i've tried to state my case on this several times, album could be much better, but live versions of the songs are coming around very well

I've always found Live versions to be much better. I guess that's even clearer with Stand Up.

American Baby is great live!
Acoustic versions with Tim are also pretty nice!

Favorite song is American Baby Intro. Especially the jam.
