when i was at the height of my dmb obsession, i was set on getting a small solid black firedancer really low on my ankle.

I'm all for tatoos, but i'd prefer something more original than a firedancer tatoo.

EDIT: Do you shave the hair around your tattoo or does having one there get rid of the hair there?

hahaha, nah i took that pic the day after i got it done...so no hair had grown back yet from my tattoo artist shaving it

dam, cause i would have considered gettnig a tatoo on my ass if it got rid of the hair there

The other day I was sitting in a guitar store and I started to play PNP. Some kid that was in the room just started dancing and jumping all around. When I finished he came over and we began to chat about DMB. He had a HUGE tattoo on the back of his right calf of the firedancer and all the members names. It was really crazy, but he was a nice guy....

I think that tat is rather large, but it's the nicest looking fd tat i've seen to date, great ink/color

I'm guessing you're asking what's the significance of the firedance and the rings? If so, the Firedancer was an original sketch done by Dave and has been one of the primary, and most recognizable, symbol for DMB. The rings are from the cd cover of Before These Crowded Streets. They're the rings left on a table top from a glass, cold beer, etc.
