I love the Folsom Field DVD. I love the setlist because it has basically the whole Everyday album. (So Right is my favorite Everyday song). Great JTR, Warehouse, and probably my favorite Two Step (from the DVD's officially put out). Overall, I think it was a great set, and Dave and Carter seemed into it. (I don't mention Stefan because I read an interview that made me lose some respect for Stefan).

It seems like he only likes to play three songs and doesn't like really large crowds. This reading made me dislike Stefan.

i dont know. maybe 03 was a shitty time for him. if you read on his myspace and izstyle, he seems a lot more into the music, the band, and his fans

yea, plus at all the recent shows he does a lot more interacting on stage with dave and boyd etc. i think he was probably in a bad place, happens to everyone once and a while.

Anyway i think you guys are being a little harsh on the folsom field DVD i obviously wouldn't say it was the best but it does have its moments.

Did anyone else notice dave mess up the intro to 'if i had it all' turns out he is human!
where in bucks?

on the subject,

i find folsom pretty crappy in comparison to others , and dave is all unhealthy and sweaty, it feels like the concert never took of, and their are no mmorable jams. im a lovley lady liker on the whole, they wernt so good in this with the exception on the angel jam
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

In the town of chesham. Although i spend alot of my time in aylesbury at the music centre: teaching, learning.

To continue my defence of folsom. I think the version of crash into me is very good. Butch taylor's piano really adds to the song especially with the tinkly bits after 'in a boys dream'
'Preoccupied and Dedicated to the Preservation of the Motion of the Hips' - Parliment Funkadelic

Dave Matthews on the outside, tasty on the inside.

Any way to get to my point. I don't think the folsom concert is a bad one. It features my favourite version of Don't drink the water. The power, energy and pure menace of that song is scary, so much better than the albumn version. Once you get through the first two minutes of intro and the riff comes in you'll understand. Some other highlights are when he sings 'Hell' and hits the high note so well. My favourite part is when he sings 'and i'll live with my justice ...i don't need anyone but me!

That song alone makes the concert good
dmbtabs......welcome to it
