What will become of me/pantala naga pampa

Is it just me, or should Dave make what will become of me into a full length song with the whole band instead of just an intro to other songs? I mean I know there are longer versions played on acoustic, but I think he should just record it as a whole new song.

probably not, cuz then dave would have to work.

I have a feeling, though I have no proof, that dave doesn't feel song writing is work. it just happens. the only time it seemed to be work would be on ED with glen, and that sounded pretty easy since they wrote 12 songs in like 2 weeks, music and lyrics from what I understand.

If he were to take an intro/outro song and turn it in to a full song it would have to happen gradually, not dave saying, "i'm going to make this into a full song"

also, we haven't even heard WWBOM in a long time, so I don't see it happening.

maybe he should, but like everybody said, i dont see it happening. plus people that arent that into dave would just be like 'what a loser, he just redid pantala naga pampa'
plus i love the intro/outro thing-its one of the coolest concepts and it goes so well on btcs-i think they should do it for every album, it'd be a cool signature.

Anyone know if D&T ever did an acoustic show where they played a Jimi Thing into What Will Become of Me into PNP and finallly into Rapunzel?

I've heard Rapunzel with D&T which is amazing and I've heard Jimi Thing-WWBOM-PNP but never a complete combination. I just think it would be a sweet combo.

i dont think they've done all 4 but yea ive heard the first 3 in a row...they would have to be playing for a while heh

you know that there is lyrics to that song don't you? It is a full song, but they left it an instrumental on Busted Stuff for some odd reason.

Check this out,

They shouldn't record it, but LIVE they should go into it at the end of Jimmy Thing..start off with just Dave and then the band comes in piece by piece,...Carter,...Boyd,...Roi,...it all swells with Dave's voice raising...and then quickly fades...and occasionally(I mean occasionally) it can seque into PNP-->Rapunzel, how sweet would that be...!?

afterthought: it would have to be the shorter version of Jimmy Thing, not one with a long jam at the end (so this way, you never know which version you'll get until you hear the end.....)

just my $.02, I had a dream about this the other night...

I love the jams as much as the next guy, but maybe mix it up a little,...

if Jimmy Thing was in the setlist more often, they could do it...(not a complaint)
