So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I am having problems getting the rythym/timing down for this song.. can anyone provide any hints or suggestions? The notes are straight forward enough, but it just doesn't feel right when I play it.
Thanks
=============================================
The whole song is this simpe riff
There are variations to this but this is the general riff
E:-----------------------------
B:-----------------------------
G:-----10--9-------9---7-------
D:-------------------------10--
A:-8---------------------------
E:-------------8---------------

Try to match the same rhythm for the bass notes (8 on A, 8 on E) that Dave uses for Everyday. They're virtually the same.
After that, just listen to a recording of #36 (such as Listener Supported) for the higher notes. It's not too bad.

Thank you for the suggestions. Does anyone have a clear audio recording of #36 they could send me?
