So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Tuneing

Every time I try to tune my guitar to B E A D F# B I always end up breaking a string. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah, I tried it before. I even tried an odd little tuning for 'Stay or Leave' which was tuning up all the strings except the low E up 3 half steps. Then move all the chords up one string. This sorta sucked, so I got a capo. ^_^

Well I've never been good at spelling, but it's a good thing I have a built in tuner on my guitar. I just wanted to know how to tune my guitar to play some of the songs. I don't really like using a capo on some of them.

Then find look on the side of the page and find the standard tuning for the song.
