I know, I know, my last cover song's just a few days ago, but I was just so keen to to that song!!! especially in this version of L at LC....Hmm, so awesome (the version of Dave

)
I think I just wanted to experiment if I sound scary when singing rough...

cool man, you played it well

you fell a teensy bit flat on the "going away part". you would have hit it had you put more strenght into it (i.e. more air passing through the throat, sounded like you were constricting it).

your vocals were good overall, but they lacked the power that is on the version you were going off of. this is a small gripe considering you aren't dave, but it might be something to consider practicing

listening as i type....

the vocals are very good. they sounded excellent from the "run away...." part on.

only suggestions really are to slow down the "why do we run around here..." part, and when you sang "run awayyyyyy" i think you started the chorus one measure to late. (he starts those power chords while he's screaming that part i think)

overall, it was very good. i was very impressed with the vocals. once again, they sounded great from "run away" on.

keep it up.
