raised b tuning

raised b tuning
by 'raised b', i assume that means that you raise the strings up to the higher pitches.....is that safe? it doesnt seem so

I wouldn't see how it's NOT safe if Dave keeps a normal 714 tuned to that. All it is is different gauges in different spots...no extra strain on the neck.....hope that helps...lata
