American Baby

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

My friend tabbed it for me a while ago, here ya go. (hope this helps):

Code: Select all

Verse/Chorus/End Jam:
E:---------------------------------------
B:---------------------------------------
G:-----4-----4--------7----------6-----
D:---------------------------------------
A:-----2-----2--------5----------4------
E:-----3-----3--------7----------5------
(Hit the first choed twice, then either pick out the next two chords, or strum them twice, there's a lot of room for variation)

Riff:
E:--------------------------------------------------------------
B:--------------------------------------------------------------
G:------------------2---------------4----------------6--7p6---6
D:-----------4--------------2------------------4---------------
A:----5-----------------------------------5---------------------
E:---------------------------------------------------------------
(Play twice, and on the 2nd time, slide from 7 to 9 on the G string)

You're 100% right, it's easier to play it like Dave does. I just put it like that because it's fun to play it that way. By the way nice Cartman pic. :D
