What does "trippin billies" mean???

I think dave fell off a cliff or something when he was tripping with friends on a beach. I might be 100% wrong on that though.

The lyrics are about an acid trip he took. But the title is derived from the point in the above post.

storytellers he just said he took way too much acid (was it south africa? do they have acid there?) and the song was written abpout that.

as for the two words, tripping (this is obviously a reference to tripping on acid) and billies (not so sure, I know a popular term for heavy hallucinations is "Tripping Balls", so maybe this was just a slang term refering to taking way too much acid as dave said he did.

i guessed it was like when people go goat tipping and you know they jump up really suddenly and the goat freezes up and you tip them over. i thought thats what it was and it was just like having fun whenever you can type of idea...apparently im completely wrong.

gotcha...but was there a cliff+falling story? I remember hearing it on a weekly davespeak a while back, at least I think so.

Billie is also a slang term for 'cop' in South Africa. I heard some where that he was on a beach in SA naked and a cop came up and he was on acid, blah blah blah.

storytellers the whole version, he explains the meaning of the song, he talks about how kodak should create acid trips that are 10 seconds, etc.
