Suggestions for acoustic drive pedal...

Post by mangold »

I play both backing and lead guitar in my bad and my solo stuff, and i use my looper to loop jams and solo overtop. i need a good drive pedal to distort my acoustic guitar and turn it into a solo worthy "axe"

anyways i want thekinda drive that is non existent when i play softly, but it gets more and more fierce the louder i play... any suggestions? the key is it has to work with an acoustic...

I have a Boss BD-2 (Blues Driver). It does a pretty good job for overdrive on acoustic. I don't know what you mean by the nonexistant comment, I don't think that sort of thing is possible. You can step the pedal off and it won't have any effect.

yeh that was a weird way of wording it... i mean when i play softly i just want the guitar to sound clean, like the pedal isnt affecting it.

thanks, that ones on my list of pedals to try, i think im gonna have to bring my guitar and board to a samash and plug it into their floor models, cant wait for the weird looks.
