gravedigger wrote: yeah David Gray is awesome. White Ladder rules. I think my favorite song from that album is Say Hello Wave Goodbye, and yes Capo 2.
I think Lost Songs is his best album. After that, I would say either A Century Ends or A New Day At Midnight. Caroline is a FUN song to play (have to change tuning, but requires a capo.)

the other side is my favorite song though.
"Forget about what you are escaping from ," he said, quoting an old maxim of Kornblum's. "Reserve your anxiety for what you are escaping to ."

Don't forget James Taylor. I'm tempted to get one so I can play "Something in the Way She Moves". Anyone heard "Big Love" by Fleetwood Mac i.e. Lindsay Buckingham. Thats some virtuoso shit.

I consider it paying homage. If it were someone other than James Taylor I would agree with you.

David Gray
Coldplay
James Taylor
Beatles
Bob Dylan
*Damien Rice
*I don't play much of his stuff, but I'm sure he uses a capo.
