I've been playing LIOG as long as I've been playing Dave songs, but right before the band is about to come in and he plays the Em, Am, G...I just never felt the G there really fit in. Consequently, I never play it. I know it's all about feel and laying your own style to a song, but I was just wondering if you guys have ever thought that the G seems out of place. I don't know, I could just be a moron too.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit odd too. I've grown to like it, and now I just mute the A and hit an upstroke on the G right before the band comes in. It's subtle, but it's there when I play it.

well first of all that Am that you speak of is an A maj. and yea, ive never really liked that whole section. i usually just keep playing the regular verse and never strum those chords.

I really like the Em and the A MAJOR, but the G feels like putting barbecue sauce on macaroni and cheese.

I always liked the G. It adds a little dynamic flare. You guys dont know what youre talking about.

Me too! i've hated the G since the second iheard it. i put up a thread about it, but they told me that the tab is right....

i dunno. i'm jst gonna play around with it.

Washington beat Michigan in 2001 at Husky Stadium.

then lost a hearbreaker to Michigan last year, 2002 ... a game in which the Huskies lost because of a '12 man on the field" penalty in the last few seconds. talk about pain.

then we lost the first game of this year to Ohio St. their first game after winning the National Championship 02.

but we, Washington, were the last team to beat the Miami Hurricanes at the Orange Bowl. a tremendous feat indeed

we also beat Miami (at Wash) in 2000 !!!!! and went on to win the Rose Bowl
