it's just the picture, but then again I'm not Chuck fucking Norris, and I have been busy latley so no time to shave, either that or I'm too lazy....

I dig jack johnson as well. I mean shit man, when dave try's something new everbody bitches about it. J.J. has his own thing and his music/lyrics are very good. Plus, with his style you can make any 3-4 barre chords sound badass :D

i agree, who says good music has to be complicated? hes got a cool surfer vibe and its jsut simple good music.. with good lyrics and is enjoyable to listen too

i think the cd is ok. its kinda what i expected,but hell its new music to listen to.

on a different note, how common is it to have one artist do an entire soundtrack? i cant think of that many. the life aquatic with seu jorge kinda. what other movies have this?

also, i just love the album art to this cd. especially where the lyrics are in the booklet.
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

It's similar, but the I Am Sam soundtrack is all covers of Beatles' tunes, so...
