Are you refering to any show in particular?

With the full band or only with Tim Reynolds?

i'm assuming he is refering to full band.

you can look online and find all of the equipment he uses. I don't think he uses anythgin in the way of effects, just that feedback buster, and a very nice taylor play through high quality equipment.

It's also amazing how some of the high end guitars sound compared to some of the beaters we played or started with. I made my first guitar upgrade 7-8 months and it made a huge difference. I'm going to make another one soon and I can tell the difference between my guitar and the guitar's I have been checking out.

I don't think his sound is unique....

I think the "dave sound" is more to do with his rythmic tecnique than anything else. I think just about any decent small bodied guitar with a nice set of strings: EXP's or Elixer's will do. I think it has more to do with how he plays chords a little differently with only three strings ringing and the others being muted. If you don't know what im talking about, check out the playing lessons on the main site.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Indeed, his right hand is very powerfull... For me, it was the most difficult issue to catch his style.

Further, Dave uses Taylor with the band (or the Chet Atkins) because the sound is more brilliant: it's easier to cut through the band, which has a lot of different sounds.

Personally, I really like the acoustic sound of Luther College, where he plays the most perfect acoustic sound with is Martin and no effects on it...

if you listen to Tim, his sound is very unique, as well...a lot of that has to do with set-up and gear, but - at the same time - Tim could pick up a beater and you would still know it was him...I think the same goes with dave - so much of a "unique" sound depends on technique
