Extracting DVD audio

Post by mattinbeloit »

Ok, the other day i was thinking of taking some live shows I have on DVD and turning them into audio files. Now i can just play th DVD strait through and my soundcard will take what it hears and turn it into a wave file so that's preatty easy, but is there any way for me to get the audio files strait off the DVD and concert them or something? Any help would be great, it would save me from taking like 5 or 6 2 hour long DVD's and playing them strait through and then taking the wave file and spliting it up into tracks. thanks.

i use a program called xilisoft dvd audio ripper. It works really well and does it really quickly. It can split it into tracks too, so its not just a big 2 hour mp3 or what ever format you pick.
