Ok, I'm as big a Dave fan as anyone - but lets be realistic here. His role in Winn Dixie was minor at best, and it wasn't all THAT great. He did a fine job, but award winning? I don't think so.

I realize this is all in good fun - and I would love to see him win (though what really would it mean?)
