What kind of guitar is this?

Post by Thomas »

any Brad paisley fans out there?

I was watching his new video for "when i get where i'm going" and noticed that he was playing an interesting looking acoustic.

this is the only picture i could find of it. its really small but hopefully someone here can recognize it

it's a full body acoustic but the soundhole is strangely placed.
brad paisley is a heck of a guitar player so this got me interested to know what kind of guitar it is.

If i remember correctly the different placement of the sound hole will give you a different sound. One spot will have more bass, another more treble, etc. Not sure though.

Initially I thought it could be a Tacoma, but the shape of the cutaway looks like a MacPherson.

mcpherson has an add on the inside cover of the last like 5 acoustic guitar magazines. if you check out their website they have some really awesome songs you can download for free recorded with their guitars too. i listen to em all the time.
