another sufjan cover! omg lol

Post by dmbguitar718 »

Yeah, I covered Sufjan again. Like my previous one, I recorded this one live. (Not at a show, just guitar + vox all in one take) There are a few obvious flaws, notably in the beginning, but I think it gets better towards the middle and end.

Anyway, feel free to listen and comment.

I liked it. You're right, too, it does get better in the middle and stays great til the end. Nice.

Yeah, my main flaw was getting that initial "I have called..." or what have you to start off the verse. I knew I wasn't getting it, but I said fuck it and kept it anyway. :)

Your voice is getting there. What are you doing to improve it?

So you've done absolutely nothing.... it just got better magically? Thanks for the feedback.

Haha, pretty much. I think me just sticking in my range and trying to perfect it has helped alot. (rather than trying to make my voice some powerhouse that it isn't.)

This is great Pat. You have a really good tone in your voice. If you keep working on it, it could be a powerhouse. Just keep at it...your voice is sounding awesome.
