LOOK!!! Whit did a song with the new guy!!

:D This is a little something Whit and I cooked up. "That's So You," by The Rocket Summer. I heard Whit's cover a little while back, and I sucked her into doing a duet :thumbsup:. Whit is the lower rhythm guitar, and I'm the higher up, and you can obviously guess the vocals. All editing, mixing, and mastering done by Tim Jacobs @ The BroomCloset Studio, central CT. 8-) Enjoy.

sounds great, you guys should "hook up" again sometime. only complain is that your (tims) voice sounds great but whit is doing most of the vocals..... but sounded great nonethesless

man you guys did really well, i liked it alot. I like the beginning where you do some picking, the two different guitars give that 12 string effect sometimes, ive been messing aournd with that idea latley. The only thing i really didnt like was when you changed up towards the middle with the real abrupt changes and pauses, i have not heard the original song but i would try to make that part blend better and get rid of the pauses inbetween, just a thought. Anyway over all it was very beautiful, great job.

Well, yeah, I let Whit take most of the song, I had never heard it before, I've only heard hers, so I was just playin' off what she gave me to work with. So that would explain why her vocals dominate as opposed to mine. That, and she's just got a beautiful singing voice, and isn't afraid to belt it out. :D Hey Matt, talk to Whit about that middle part, I was just playin' what I heard. :thumbsup: Or better yet, go talk to The Rocket Summer, it's THEIR song, I've never even heard the original before.

The only other thing that I can find wrong with it is that it seems to clip at some of those higher vocal points. Blame Whit's recording skills. :roll: lol, j/k Whit, you were great. *lights cigarette*

And yes, Whit and I are already talking about our next project.

Everyone seems to enjoy my recorded singing voice, both in this song and in "A Fond Farewell." I can't STAND my recorded voice, LIVE RULES!!! 8-)
