interesting theory....

except one problem, but its minor.

grey street is not about julia grey, its about a canadian poet, i think.
it would make since if it was about her since its called GREY street but nope

When did Dave say that about Grey Street?

Also, Julia Grey was a g/f of Dave's and ended around 1990. He asked her to marry him 3 times, and each time she said no. He wrote songs like I'll Back You Up, Lover Lay Down, and a few others about her. Then, after he asked her again and again to marry him, they eventualy split. Then Dave wrote a song called Halloween. I wonder what halloween is about

. Yep, you're right, a very negative messege to Julia Grey. Then the one of the companies they made to copywrite dmb songs, one was called Colden Grey (mocking Julia, implying Cold and Grey, that I know is true.)
