My buddy showed me a tape of this guy on austin city limits, i have to say he BLEW ME AWAY, this guy has simple guitar based stuff, a lot of open chords really, but a great unique voice and amazing lyrics... he just puts it all out there, very emotional stuff

if you get a chance to check out the austin city limits with him, i suggest you do, i think it was the one with ben folds on it

I saw him at the Xmas Jam, and he was awesome. It seemed that he was distraught or something; I'm not sure if thats how he always is, but he never talked to the crowd, he just got up played a set said thank you and walked off.

thanks, thats how i thought i spelled it... anyways, yeah hes really really shy about his music, in a little interview at the end of the austin city limits show, hew as talking and saying how it took him years just to gather the strength to play in front of people...
