I wasnt a fan...I didnt think Dave and Johnny Cash's voices meshed too well together. Too much of a contrast...

yeah I like it a lot actually, but not necessarily because of Dave but because I just like the song. very simple song but a nice one.

Dave's voice doesn't mesh too well with anybody's voice if you think about it.
I can't really rememember a collaboration where his voice meshed well with the other singers.

Radar (off of Chris Whitely's ATO album Rocket House) he sang back up and it was very nice. He barely sang, but the ending, it does work. I think because of their type of voices are the same. Listen to them, and that track, you can see that they have similarities.
