ok another radom post. i use to have a copy of an old/rare dmb home movie that i got from DC when it was first available. That had to been about 3 years ago. Since then, due to my stupidity, I have accidently lost/deleted it. I was wondering if maybe someone else had it possibly. It was during the early 90's and it seemed like they were playing inside at a theater someplace. The set list include songs from Crash, UTTAD and R2T. If you have some sort of idea of what I'm talkin about and know where I can find it please lemme know. Thanks.
van rypers was way before crash came out...sounds like you are talking about crashing the quarter in new orleans? it was on mtv right after they released crash...I don't have any mpegs or dvd of it...have it on vhs...somebody prolly has it on mpeg or dvd...sorry i can't help
im pretty sure this wasn't aired on tv ... i think it was when the band was just starting to become big .. i think i rememeber making a copy for a friend on cd ...if by chance i can get it again ... i will share with you guys ...it is a bad ass concert.

but a lot of the songs they played at van rypers were released on crash.
i can tell this is gonna bug the shit out of me ... this was an actual home movie that someone used their portable vhs recorder on ..i THINK dave was playin the spruce colored chet atkins ...boyd was wearing the crazy colorful clothes w/ the glasses (u know thats old) ...hope this helps.
my friend still had the cd i burned it to the date was 2-11-94 .... its freakin sweet ...i like the improv intro for minarets around 8:30...if ya want it ... send me a PM and i'll set up my ftp again. whoever edited this did a crappy job because it cuts some songs off a lil short ...but the video lasts around 40minutes or so.

I remember that video. Its a cool one. I really like all the early DMB videos, kinda cool to see what it was like when they were performing back in the day.
