I finally bought Before These Crowded Streets ...
I had never heard "The Last Stop" amazingly ... Anyway, what an amazing song. I love it.
GD Glen Ballard and Mark Batson ... Fucking ruining this band.
BTCS is the last classic DMB album. I'll hold it and love it and call it my own

99% agreed.
Glen Ballard didn't ruin DMB...he just needs to be reminded that Boyd and Leroi are, indeed, members of the band.
But yeah, The Last Stop is one of my favorite songs right now. Especially the live at Chicago official release version.

the 2nd half of the album is so great, it just flows so well.
unlike other albums, i couldnt think of a better song order
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

It is good, but I still like the Live Trax Vol. 1 version the best.

i like chicago best.
man this reminds me how great btcs is. its my go to album if i listen to studio dave. no other studio album gets played, almost at all other than btcs. and what's crazy is there's not one song i don't like on it (although i usually skip stay just cause i've heard it too many times) but the others i never get tired of hearing.

couldn't have said it better. I usually skip stay too, because I've heard it tons, and I think it gets kind of repetitive towards the end.

okay for some reason the thread title reminds me of Dave's intro to the big league chew show.
"hello and welcome....intimate vocal sound....sound.....sound....sound...."
