Beginning guitarists...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I'd say Crash is a good one to start with to strenghten up the hand (my hand still hurts after playin' it) and to help improve strumming pattern/rhythm which is the most important thing in my opinion. Yeah Typical Situation, Proudest Monkey, Grey Street, and probably moreso the Covers like All along the Watchtower which uses basic chords but they go on forever to help the hand and rhythm. Others like Angel From Montgomery, Redemption song, Long Black Veil, If I had a Boat. All Great Songs and Fun to play although I havn't learned em all yet :? :o  (I love those emotions)

Have fun guys,

peace,
Ken

I started with crash, but knowing what I know now, I would probably either start with Too Much, or Song That Jane Likes.
