I was reading an article about Maurice Clarett entering the NFL a year early and came across thie section with a quote fom Brittany Spears.
When did a young collegian jumping to the NFL suddenly become akin to walking the surface of Mercury in a Speedo? Is Britney Spears physically and mentally ready for the rigors of her profession?
Physically, um, yes. Mentally? Check this quote out:
"Anyone can sit down and write some boring artistic song. Pop music is the hardest stuff to write."
I thought we would all enjoy that, especially after hearing some of Dave's lyrics from this latest album.
I'm not saying pop music is the easiest thing to write, I think many people take it for granted, but honestly, why did she say that??? She's so stupid.

she almost made a good point in saying that a lot of artsy music sucks...people make such a big deal out of music because it sounds different or not "poppy" but it really just completely sucks...some of this stuff is just terrible that people put out and call art...and it is absolutely not easy to write something with a catchy beat, catchy lyrics, and catchy progression...don't kid yourselves...
I just think it's funny that she isn't the one writing her own songs. Whoever said she writes a couple lines per album is pretty close. I think she did two songs on her own off her last album......not including the music. Meaning she came up with the same meaningless pop lyrics that everyone else uses. I admit, I like pop music...it's the lyrics I usually can't stand.
That's why I really like Dave, the lyrics mean something to me, and the music is pretty catchy. I think we, as Dave fans, get the best of both worlds. Some people think the Everday album was too pop. I loved that album, it let me listen to Dave when I'm with people who don't normally like Dave. And for as much as everybody claims they didn't like it, ther sure are alot of posts about playing the songs off that album in standard or on an acoustic guitar.
As for Brittany Spears, she is really hot. Oh, and my roomates little sister won a Brittany Spears Look-alike contest a few years ago. She didn't really look like her, and since she was my roomates little sister I was forbidden from making any comment like, "Dude, you sister is so hot" or anything that might have been a little more suggestive.
