The only thing I could think of was the scene from "This Is Spinal Tap" in the guitar room, with all the guitars covering the walls. Beautiful guitars that are probably never played, that just sit around for the sake of a "collection", are a waste of a guitar maker's energy, time, talent, and craftsmanship, not to mention an insult to all of us struggling guitarists who very well may never own the guitar of our dreams. Saddening.

Why is everyone so angry that the man has a nice collection of guitars. People collect different things. If he didn't own all of these, it makes no difference on somebody else's ability to buy one. No struggling guitarist that can't afford one of these guitars now is going to be able to afford them if he didnt own them. I don't see how this could be an "insult" to anybody. I'm sure Taylor (seeing as how most of them are Taylors) is more than happy that he spent all the money on their guitars. Get over it.

My favorite part is how people start saying he can't play and don't know jack about the guy.

It does not stand for anything...it is a name of a species of wood.
