So I was in Wal-Mart...

Post by jeffro »

I had to get stuff for a science project, (due tomorrow) and Wal-Mart was closer than Office Depot so I decided to go there. I get an Icee coke, my suplies and head over to the cd section. While I was browsing I noticed that they didn't have Dave's Album, AT ALL! It was just FF, Chicago, Crash, LC, and BS. This shouldn't bother me b/c i already have it, but still, it does.

best buy. stores inside malls are always overpriced with crappy service. best buy has crappy service too and usually don't know what they talk about and i hate their return policy, but if i know i want to get something i go there to get it a little cheaper.

as for wal-mart, i don't think their known for their electronics store. ;) they pretty much edit everything. i think i saw an edited david gray cd once, but probably not because the likelihood of their having a DG cd is slim.

best buy is by far the best. i used to work at wally world in the electronics section too. they edit their cd's. that's just gay. so yea, don't go to walmart for cd's. BASIC electronics aren't that bad, cheaper than everyone else, but not music or hardware

If you have a Warehouse Music store in your area, that's just as cheap as Best Buy, has at least the same selection (if not greater) and have better service. Check it out.

Holy shit, get the hell out of there! lol. Wal-Mart uses a lot of products that come out of sweat shops. That is why a lot of their stuff is cheap. Also, everyone who I meet there that work there, they seem like they want to kill themselves (and the one around here is the best one I have been in). I talk to people who used to work there, and the place is so filthy and dirty. Also, most stores like Wal-Mart have very little selections since they don't focus on one point.

For CDs, say it with me, The Exclusive Company (that's their ad). They are 2 local stores, and have FUCKING GREAT selections, for good prices. They have a shit load of stuff. The one on state street even has a bassment for tons Jazz and Classical music. Videos, DVDs, software, so much stuff for music. I wish I worked there and got discounts, lol.
Yes, I am in a box
