Hi all! It's been a while since ive been on the board, but i'm back now with a fresh new cover. I am playing a show in 3 days and I was wondering if I could get some opinions on this cover I just learned today.
I decided to do Pardon Me acoustic by Incubus a song I've been wanting to do for a while now. Recorded with the dell mic glued to my monitor. Give it a listen, honest comments welcome.
nice job. i like your voice a lot. it sounds naturally good...not forced. the guitar could use a LITTLE work right after the first "don't ever be the same". and i think the chords you used "parils of being 3D" are a little off as well. other than those two things it's very well done..i like it.
Im sorry that I said you had to sign up. I was clicking the Mp3 link and it would bring me to a sign page but i clicked hi-fi to stream it and it worked. I thought it was a solid cover. I like your voice it sounds good and the guitar for the most part was great. I didnt sound right after the "never be the same". I listened to some of your Dispatch covers as well and I liked those a lot. Your recordings sound good, sorry that I was complaining that I couldnt listen to it before, good stuff man.
thanks for the feedback! Ya the guitar in that one part was way off because it is hard for me to pick the notes and sing at the same time. I'm more of a strummer.
I'll play it first and tell you what it is later.
