I was bored today so i decided to record a live take of the stone. I fucked up lyrics sometime i think but i was to lazy to record it all over again. please critique. the link is below. thanks

Just listened. Guitar is good. A few flubs, with some rythymic issues during the singing.

The singing is little emotionless to me. It's not bad, it just needs work. A few off pitch spots.

Not bad, not great.

The guitar is pretty good. I think I am hearing an extra note in the d----5--5---2---3---2-------- but other than that it sounds pretty solid. As far as the voice is concerned, the quality is good, off key at parts, but overall not bad. the key to this song is having the guitar part down where you could play it unconscious. Did you record these tracks separately or at the same time? I would suggest recording your guitar part first and then your vocals, that way you dont have to think abou two things at once.

Good job though, keep posting.

I agree with comments made above, guitar was good for the most part. The vocals are a little thin and sometimes are off key. In my opinon to make this song sound good you really need to belt out the vocals and be confident about it.
I'll play it first and tell you what it is later.

I thought it was very good, your voice is soothing and guitar has a couple off beats but nothing anyone but us will notice

That's a really good on stage mic. I think dave used that as his vocal mic for a long time.

Yeah, its really an awesome mic. but dave uses a sennheiser now. i dont know why he switched. Neumann makes the best condenser mics ever
