Lessons are only going to be as worthwhile as the time you put into practicing between lessons.
If you're willing to do an hour a day of practicing (or practising for Dale) what you learned in your lesson that week then it's worth it.
Otherwise you're paying someone to listen to you play guitar (badly sometimes).
