Rapunzel is SUCH a good song.

Post by brian_ok »

So I really haven't listened to Dave much in the past 6 months, but I've been popping LALC into the CD player on the way to school the last 2 weeks or so. Last night, I was going to sleep and listened to the first half or so of BTCS, and hear Rapunzel for the first time in forever.

Rapunzel is a damn good song. It just has so much movement. That and So Right have to be my favorites.

/end thread.

damn thats weird

i was just listening to the PNP > Rapunzel on BTCS today and was thinking the exact same thing. most of the time im skippin through songs like "Stay" or "Crush" on that CD, but ill always find time to listen to the PNP > Rapunzel and The Stone. definetly the finer work DMB has ever produced.

The LS version slays me every time, especially because Stefan's bass comes through so perfectly with a thundering passion.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Oh God, you're not kidding. Were you being sarcastic? slays/thundering passion? Well if you weren't I agree.

And GSR- I'm sure he meant skipping through TO those songs.

:confusion: None of the songs listed above are on the Lillywhite sessions, or are you referring to Listener Supported?

i'd just rather listen to The Stone or Rapunzel than Stay or Crush on a given night, thats all. just personal preference, i suppose. its not to say that i NEVER listen to those songs, or dont dig them, cause i most certainly do. its just, most of the time, im more inclined to listen to others.

The Listener Supported Rapunzel is perfect in everyway. I hate how it's on cocaine now, it doesn't really groove at all. I love how groovy LS is, it always makes me wan to dance.
