So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I really need it.
That would be amazing if there were tabs for all of tim's impoved jams. I think you actually have to die and go to heaven in order to see those

AS far as the flemenco stuff timmy does, like at the 3-29-03 boone show, the jam is kinda like the chords trey plays during the wash efuzzie part in YEM. It is based around two chords, slapped with the thumb and strummed with the forefinger, and they are as follows: 7x7777 and 076777. Follow along with the bass notes dave plays and throw in some fills in Bm along with those. Its extraordinarily fast, but try and slap the bass notes like Justin King does. It tears up your thumb at first, but you get used to it after a while.

i like this song in standard tuning. Does dave really drop d? it doesn't sound like it to me. the main part it sounds like he's just doing open cords. The chorus F G C (Its crazy..) am i totally wrong?

Thats because timmy is playing the open chords. Dave always plays the closed ones.
