so today I decided to write another song for this little project I'm still working on, which is supposed to just be made up of simple acoustic songs...well, I start writing this song in an alternate tuning, and it just explodes and got more complex and I don't know how to play it at all now except for one part that wrote itself in an instant...frustration runs amuck...I don't even know how I figure this crap out...I'm playing all these random chords in this tuning (E A E G A E) that I've never played in before and somehow pulling out a song that I don't know how to play...I'm so ticked right now...I've been playing thist stupid thing for almost 8 hours straight now and I just can't seem to get it how I want it!!!!!! I have never, ever, EVER had to work this hard for a song like this before...

yes, in a sense, as in I don't know what speed to play these parts at...dynamics basically...getting a good strumming pattern...and the bridge is different and throwing me...

it's not the notes, it's the rhythm and organization of the parts...

when I say I don't know how to play, I mean I don't know how I want the whole thing to come off, as in how fast to play, what parts go where, etc. etc. etc...it's recorded abundantly and tabbed just to be on the safe side...

So pretty much you are saying that it's like someone gave you a puzzle without a picture, but a note that tells what objects are in the picture but not where they are.
