I tell you what, if I ever win the lottery, I'll give you a million dollars and then fucking harass you every second of the day for 20 years.

Everywhere you go, I'll harass you. I'll peep in your windows at any hour of the day or night. I'll follow you everywhere. I'll make a scene when you're at a restaurant. I'll hire a girl to follow you everywhere and yell, "I love you" and "Marry me" and "Why did you get that restraining order?"

How's that trade off?
Could you do that to me too?

I'm not the star-struck person that usually stalks celebs but I've always wanted to meet Dave just to shake his hand and say "hey thanks, your music is great and has given me a lot of joy"

However, in my master scheme I have made it to the fourth circle that surrounds Dave and DMB (don't laugh too hard at me, I know that this is true example of me living in a fantasy, but it's true):

I opened for a band called Sam James Band
whom opened for Robert Randolph and the FB
whom opened of course, for DMB

soooooooooo close

Sam James' manager is a cool guy, his name is Tyler Sweet and he is friendly with Coran and DMB's management team and has worked with Dave a few times. So of course after he said he liked my set I made some funny noise and danced a little jig (not knowing who he was) but later after realizing his identity and professional proximity to Dave I had to pick his brain a bit and he was happy to oblige. My parting words were of course, if you could ever hook me up to meet the man I'd love to.

He just gave me a smirk that I'm sure many people have been witness to over the years.

In the end I remain, a cheesy DMB uber fan.

LOL!

Exactly, to all the people that said they would ignore him are definately lying. If you saw your favorite musician in public whoever that may be, your saying you wouldnt atleast just walk up to him and say something to him? I sure hell would, if I ever saw Dave there would be no way to ignore him because who knows if I will ever meet him again.

The only way I would talk to him would be if I happened to be right next to him and he wasn't too busy doing anything. I'm pretty sure I would call him "Mr. Matthews" and feel like an idiot, I would shake his hand, say "whats up" and then that would be it.

I've thought about this so many times and I honestly think that I'd become completelt speechless if I met Dave.

Yeah i'd love to meet dave he seems like a really chill guy.

I've never really met alota real stars but i've met almost all the professional pool players like Johnny Archer, Jeremy Jones, Charlie Williams, Gabe Owen, Tony Crosby(seriously one of the coolest people i've ever met), Charlie Bryant, Rodney Morris, Corey Deuel, Danny Basavich. I basically sat down and had drinks with about half of that list and played pool with several of them for about 5-6 hours. Alota cool guys really, Corey Deuel is kind of a uppity bitch but other than that Danny, Tony, Gabe, Johnny, and Jeremy are some really cool cats.

I met Jim Carrey while he was filming over in panama city for the truman show at captain andersons restaurant. We were eating din and he was just kickin it so i walked over and shook him hand, he's a mad character.

Before the Vote for Change show in Detroit last year, my buddies and I were just hanging around outside. Everyone but Stefan at different points came out from the venue to the buses. I could have talked to Leroi, but I was speechless. And I always thought I would never get star struck.

Dave looked over and waved at us when he came out. I waved back like a little bitch, goofily smiling and all. It was pretty funny.
